North West Gospel Partnership

You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.

(1 Peter 2:9)

Did you know that this academic year we have four people from Emmanuel Community Church attending the Ministry Training Course at the North West Gospel Partnership? This is really wonderful news for us as a church because it’s another way of equipping the body so that together we might live as a ‘royal priesthood and holy nation’

For those of you who don’t know, the North West Gospel Partnership (NWGP) is a group of evangelical churches in the North West of England and North Wales. Over the years, the NWGP has focused on training and equipping people and supporting church planting or revitalisation.

The specific course that our four members are participating in focuses on (a) the ministry of the word (b) a first step for a lifetime of ministry (c) being accessible to the vast majority of a church membership and (d) is taught by the newly appointed training director.
Can I encourage you to pray for our four trainees and also ask them about how the training is going? However, can I also encourage you to consider if this is something you could do over the coming season of your life? I would be more than happy to chat with you about this possibility.
